Alright, this home is FULL of love, but lacks some of the very basic necessities... Let me explain a bit about them - a man and his wife had three kids and THEN took in 40.. YES, FORTY! orphans (one with down syndrome) off the street to provide them a home.
Kamal (the father) spends his days asking shops, neighbors, and anyone else to help with rice, or anything they can spare. Sometimes there's no rice, no one has a bed, and they've never had a shower (only sparse bucket rinsing), and the only place they can all relax is on the cement roof with no shade - and that's over 100 degrees in the summer.
All that being said, I've never seen such love in my entire life, and everyone works to help everyone else be happy... They inspired me more than I have been in a very long time...
Yes, this place is FULL of love, but they have enormous challenges - one example is the sleeping arrangements...
These are the two bedrooms - one for 20 boys and one for 20 girls - shown below. All the children (including Kamal and his wife's biological children) sleep in rows on the floor. However, they know a carpenter who can make double bed bunk beds - each one will get 4 kids off the cement floor.. (hint hint hint)
