I had an amazing time in India..
INDIA was a really remarkable place, and I was fortunate to meet some beautiful people and be part of some great work.  I really owe a huge thanks to Doulat my rickshaw driver in Udaipur - he joined "Guerrilla Aid" with gusto and helped me have an amazing time...

A few things I found to do while in India...

  • Volunteered for two days distributing medicine to remote villages near the Pakistani border.

  • Volunteered with an NGO to take school supplies to children involved with child labor.  They are now providing 2 hours a day of basic education - the best that can be done at the moment.

  • I challenged my rickshaw driver to a day of Guerrilla Aid and gave him $100 to do it.  He decided to use the money to pay for the cremation of 3 homeless bodies (Hindu custom - and one of my stranger days).

  • Spent a day volunteering at a local school teaching basic english conversation.

  • On Martin Luther King National Day of Service (Obama), I went back to the same school with all the school supplies they had told me the children needed for the rest of the year.
