Rubble Removal - first step to a new school!

The school in Cité is a broken pile of rubble leaving over 600 children with no place for any type of formal education. This structure was also used as a community center and a shelter for needy families - it has to be fixed...

Without heavy machinery, every rock has to be moved by hand, with all the rubble broken up with picks and moved aside. We are going to recycle every part of the broken building in its reconstruction.

I'm really fortunate to have eighteen volunteers who just showed up to spend nine days to help with my efforts - WELCOME!
