Development in Gardening (Uganda, Senegal, Kenya)
Opportunity modified on 12/07/2009

We have been working with Development In Gardening (DIG) for a number of years now and highly recommend their work.  They build vegetable gardens next to hospitals to promote proper nutrition for AIDS patients, as well as plant gardens for many other disadvantaged individuals.

DIG was founded by one of our personal heros, Steve Bolinger who has tirelessly worked for years in Africa to better the lives of everyone he meets.  DIG has recently put gardens in for the Batwa in Uganda and are working on many other projects - always needing some extra help.

If you'd like to help, please contact them directly by visiting their website at:  DEVELOPMENT IN GARDENING
